Organizational skills, speaking ability, and the capacity to plan and coordinate multiple different types of events are essential. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, planning and executing teen service projects, providing baptismal and marriage catechesis, presenting weekly adult faith formation conferences, facilitating bible study, assisting the parish DRE with communion and confirmation retreats, visiting Catholic school and religious education students, and hosting monthly conferences at a nursing home. College degree is required (MA in Pastoral Ministry or Theology preferred). Previous pastoral ministry or missionary experience is required.
