I lost my house bit thankfully an amazing friend let me move in with my big ass dog at that point. Prior to this I was OTH discharged out of the Navy meaning a loss of all benefits. To add on I have to pay back over 42k to the Navy. That happened June 2018. August is when I broke up with my gf. We had been growing distant due to all of my time on restriction before my discharge as well as all the legal things I was going through. I tried my best to be there for her and I never took anything out on her but she just kept pulling away. A week after my breakup was my birthday. I went out with some friends and my ex showed up. Again I tried to talk to her but she just ignored me. It destroyed my vibe for the night so I left. I wake up the next day to a call from my friend saying that he got drunk and slept with my ex. This destroyed me. I called her up because before this we were still talking, it was what I thought was an amicable break up. It was during that call that I learned she cheated on me during our entire 3 year relationship.
