One of the first larger projects I'll be streaming is development of a "multi-threaded" communication library that supports a unified API for TCP and WebSockets and then a messaging layer that can run on top of that to provide OO class based PubSub messaging in pure (cross-platform) LabVIEW within processes and across network connections. I haven't delved into NXG yet as it hasn't supported CompactRIO yet which I use extensively at work but I will be starting to explore NXG as part of my streaming as well. (Hello web module! ). I've also won a myRIO in a raffle last year and have some RPis and Arduinos laying around so expect some Linx tinkering as well. So I've got some questions for the community, both new and experienced: Who has good resources for packaging LV libraries for distributions (VIPM or new NIPM? ) that would make integration a bit easier than just github downloads. I've fallen a bit behind on keeping up with the whole package management thing as it never fit with previous employers.
